CBD Hemp Oil
CBD is short for Cannabidiol. CBD is just one of many naturally occurring cannabinoids in cannabis hemp. Of the 60-plus cannabinoids, THC, CBD, and CBN have the largest amount of research behind them. Why are cannabinoids so important? Well, all mammals have an Endocannabinoid System which a specialty group of receptors located in the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord), immune system and hematopoietic system(blood production). In the past decade, this system has been implicated in a number of important body functions. More importantly, modulating of the endocannabinoid system has been found to hold therapeutic promise in the treatment of a wide range of diseases and pathological conditions including, but not limited to mood and anxiety disorders, movement disorders, seizures, neuropathic pain, arthritis, obesity/metabolic syndrome, and has also shown to be effective in reducing the symptoms of cancer treatments.
CBD is non-psychoactive, meaning it does not cause the symptom of feeling “high”. It is derived legally from locally cultivated or imported industrial hemp. The oil is considered to be a dietary supplement by the FDA and is legal in all 50 states.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it legal?
Yes, CBD is cultivated from legally grown or imported industrial hemp.
Will it make me "high"?
No, it is a product of hemp, not marijuana, and is non-psychoactive.
What is the proper "dosage" or serving size?
Topical products can be used at will and there is no limit to how often or how much you can apply because the active ingredient is only locally absorbed. The amount of ingestible CBD oil that people take on a daily basis can vary greatly. 1 to 2 drops per 10 pounds of body weight is the suggestion given by Nature's Way Botanicals. For an average size adult, one dropper full per day is sufficient.
Is it safe for pregnant or nursing mothers?
There is no information on the website to suggest it is or is not safe to use when pregnant or nursing. We DO NOT use CBD topical products in the treatment of women who are pregnant or nursing.
